So you are having an Inter date you like over, someone you have meet a few times after montsh of emails, someone you really like and want to form a relationship with, so what do you download from iTunes? Thankfully Scott G owner of G-Man Music & Marketing Miracles had produced a list of the top 10 most romantic songs of all times. They are listed by the G-Man in the order of their release.
"Someone to Watch Over Me," George and Ira Gershwin, 1926. (Timeless classic)
"Night and Day," by Cole Porter, 1932. (.Dating Staff's personal favorite)
(Night and day has been released by almost every singer so you can select just the right one from U2 to Billy Holiday, we like Tony Bennet here)
"Unchained Melody," Alex North and Hy Zaret, 1936. (This is Elvis Presely singing his heart out "I need your love!", you know it and it will melt anyone's heart)
"First Time Ever I Saw Your Face," by Ewan MacColl, 1957. (Probably the ultimate make out song, in our opinion Roberta Flack owns this song)
"Cherish," by Terry Kirkman, 1966.
"God Only Knows," by Brian Wilson, 1966. (Pet Sound's masterpiece, this song is actually too good to make out to)
"Your Song," by Elton John and Bernie Taupin, 1967. (By now you will be picking names for your kids)
"I Will Always Love You," by Dolly Parton, 1974. (It takes all kinds)
"Heaven," by Jim Vallance and Bryan Adams, 1983. (The staff at .Dating warns that we found this song actually grounds for breaking up a relationship)
"In Your Eyes," by Peter Gabriel, 1986. (Probably the best love song in 20 years, the So album is full of great make-out songs but none seem to be in a row.)
All these songs can be purchased at iTunes, some of the earlier ones by various artists. It it the opinion of .Dating that the older ones are more romantic than the newer ones. So before your big date you may want to make a Playlist with them running from newer to older. We also can't support Cherish, I Will Always Love You, or Heavan. Can we recommend "Un Coin Tout Bleu" by Edith Piaf, "Mama Call" by Manu Chao, and the "Brokeback Mountain" themes by Gustavo Santaolalla.
